Llanina Merlyn (Imp) Merlyn was imported in 1992 by Acheron Stud where he stood until 1999. He has sired many quality cobs who have gone on to be Champions In Hand, In Harness & his fillies are now valuable broodmares. Hillswood leased Merlyn in 2001 & were so taken with his wonderful temperament & the quality of his foals that he was purchased in 2003. That same year we were able to attend the Royal Welsh Show in Builth Wells, Wales & were thrilled to witness his full sister Llanarth Nellie (PHOTO) win her broodmare class. |

Trapalanda Diplomat Mattie is a young stallion by Synod Aristocrat (Imp) who was Best Led Exhibit at the 2005 National Welsh Show & out of Hazelmere Wanda, both going back to the great Synod William. Mattie has all the qualities & Welsh character needed to make him a successful stallion, his progeny are already making their mark in the show ring. |

Hillswood Red Comet Comet is by Llanina Merlyn (Imp) & out of the Multi Supreme Champion mare Neika Portia. He has a wonderful temperament, beautiful bone & extravagant movement. Comet has had a very successful In Hand show career. He is currently being broken to saddle and we look forward to getting him out in the near future. His first foals are due this season. |
